After landing at Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll meet your driver-guide and take a short drive to Negombo. This is the perfect first stop after a flight because it’s close to the airport and has a relaxed coastal vibe. Depending on your arrival time, you can rest at the hotel, take a gentle beach walk, or visit the fishing area and enjoy a simple seaside dinner. Negombo helps you recover from travel before the adventure begins.

Travel time: Approximately 20–30 minutes
After breakfast, you’ll start your journey south towards the Yala region. The drive takes you through changing landscapes and coastal towns, with a few comfort stops along the way. Once you reach your hotel near Yala, you can freshen up and relax before the safari.
In the late afternoon, head into Yala National Park by 4×4 jeep for an exciting wildlife experience. Yala is famous for leopards, but you’ll also likely see elephants, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, and a wide variety of birds. After the safari, return to the hotel for a quiet evening.

Start the day with breakfast and then travel along Sri Lanka’s southern coastline. This is a scenic drive where you’ll feel the island changing from wild nature to beach life.
You can choose your preferred beach base for the night:
Mirissa is calmer and very popular for sunsets, beach cafés, and seasonal whale watching.
Hikkaduwa is more lively, known for snorkeling, coral reefs, and a stronger beach-town vibe.
After checking in, spend the rest of the day at your own pace—swim, relax, explore the beach strip, or enjoy a sunset by the ocean.

Once you arrive, you can enjoy the hotel beach, pool time, or simply rest. If you want something light and scenic, we can arrange a calm river experience later in the day.

After breakfast, travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital and best place for modern shopping, cafés, and city life. The drive is not long, so you still have time to enjoy the city.
In Colombo, you can visit popular shopping malls, local markets, the seaside promenade, and key city areas depending on your interests. This is also a good day to pick up souvenirs, relax in a nice café, or enjoy a final evening meal in the city before departure.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight. If time allows based on your departure schedule, you can do a short last-minute stop for shopping or a quick city café visit before heading to the airport.
